Brave, inspirational, and very engaging – indie titles are all that and more. That’s why the latest Weekly Sale on GOG.COM is dedicated to DRM-free games from studios that are usually small in scale but huge in terms of imagination. Here are some examples:

Darkest dungeon® (-70%) is a turn-based RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring. Recruit, train, and lead a team of flawed heroes against unimaginable horrors.

Finding Paradise (-60%) is an enchanting adventure game about life and death. We follow two doctors traversing through a dying man's memories to fulfill his last wish.

Pyre (-65%) is a beautiful party-based RPG in which you lead a band of exiles to freedom through ancient competitions spread across a vast, mystical purgatory.

This Weekly Sale will last until 6th April, 1 PM UTC.
I'm recommending The Flame in the Flood for anyone that missed it doing the sale.

It's a very atmospheric survival game for a great price :)

A reminder that Hob will be free next week on a different store.
Finding Paradise, I recommend this one.

Where's To The Moon by the way?

Too bad that Bounty Train , Circle Empires , Depth of Extinction and Halfway aren't on sale again in this promo . :(

Dogmaus: A reminder that Hob will be free next week on a different store.
And yet full retail here is still a better value than free on that broken pile of garbage...

Yesterday I bought these, just with a hunch what kind of games I might like (not familiar with any of these games before):

Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth
Aegis Defenders
Hob
Flower
Finding Paradise
Pyre
Valhalla Hills: Two-Horned Helmet Edition Upgrade (I had the base game already)
My Memory of Us - Collector's Edition
Gorogoa - Soundtrack
The Long Journey Home
INSIDE
Gorogoa
=======================
Order total: € 61.21

Now, why did I buy these from GOG, and not e.g. Steam or some other place? Anyone know? Any guesses?

Because the URL to the store is shorter to type?

Because you want to back them up on your 6? TB hard drives.

It's obviously because you rolled dice to pick which store to buy each one from, e.g. GOG = 1, Steam = 2, etc., and the dice just happened to come up 1 every time. What are the odds?

...and overall a lot of good ones are still missing from the GOG catalog!

Hello GOG.com team,

on the occasion of this weeks indie game themed sale, I would like to use the opportunity to ask you to reconsider your recent decision about the rock-climbing offroad simulation game that is OFFROAD MANIA (by Active Games).

Unfortunately, it has been turned down by GOG.com, because "it does not fit the GOG user base".

(GOG wishlist entry):
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/offroad_mania

(developer blog on tigsource):
https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=69031.0

(Offroad Mania game page on Steam):
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1222040/Offroad_Mania/

We do not have many other alternatives here on the subject matter either... oh, just a single one -- Screamer 4x4 (also known as Bleifuss Offroad) -- since I last counted.

Kind regards,
foxgog

I'd gladly buy it since i'm a sucker for physics based games; unfortunately these games doesn't seem to have a big fanbase on GOG and that doesn't help to convince GOG.

The same happened with Cranks & Goggles (GPL veteran here!), they rejected it too; sucks that its developer doesn't offer a DRM-Free version on their website, or else i'd grab it at an instant.
