timppu: I always think I already have so many GOG games (1568) that I rarely will buy more... yet in this sales I went crazy and bought more games for about 66 €, even though I limited myself to buying mainly the cheaper games which are like 5-7€ per game. Dang. I just found so many interesting looking games there. I bought these:

GOG has to make a living. :P

As for XCOM, great to see the games here but I wish 2K was bringing a bigger variety by this point (mostly Bioshock, assuming Take 2's '90s classics are all legally screwed; wouldn't mind seeing Duke4ever either tbh). But there is a big selection here which is always good. I don't know if the discounts are good compared to Steam or not, though

its like 3rd time, xcom series (except for newest parts) come on sale this summer. Cmon, there are plenty of non-xcom games that didnt see any discount for a while (for example- terraria or dont starve) :/

I agree - this is a pretty sweet little weekly sale. I have a few games I want to get to sooner than later, but I may have to grab one or two from this one.

Actually, you can. I don't recommend it. Not sure how it passed GOG curators. It's one of that walking simulators and not much more.

Cavalary: Daily deal may also be buggy though, says up to 60% off but both items are 50%, either individually or together.
Fixed a bit later, as usual on GOG. :P

Hi guys,

sorry to hear some of you were having problems with the game. I have to say I just finished it and had no probs at all. Xcom is an old favourite of mine from wayback so I was interested in this revamped version and at the discount price it was irrestistable. You either like turn based strategy or you don't and I generally do. Killed a good few hours not to mention Aliens with this! It's not the ritz but it can have my vote.
