Is linking to mods that are not publicly available allowed?
- That is, a mod that is hosted on a private server and direct-linked, but not hosted on a webpage or otherwise advertised.

Are mods that change the appearance of characters in a game allowed?

Are mods that change the names of places allowed?

Are Russian mods allowed?

Is constantly using new user accounts controlled by the same user allowed?
- In particular, to troll other people and spread false information

We don't want overly harsh moderation (especially as you have done a few things recently to put our backs up) but a few pointers would help immensely.

Not false information...i've lost access to my account(temporarily, maybe permanently) including my game shelf. Ngl, have all games downloaded but cannot obviously gain access to future updates or new copies if my old ones get corrupted.

That aside, gonna move on so as not to derail this thread.

Are you looking for sympathy? I don't know how many games you have but if you value your collection I reckon you could probably negotiate access to your library in return for an agreement to stop trolling.

You are the definition of why companies have the "for any reason" clause.

Even so, if you apologise and agree to stop trolling, I'm sure GOG will restore your account if not your forum account.

You know why i'm on alts right now and not on my main? Because after my last temp ban (during which time I was catching several months long bans for things like 'offtopic' for things like daring to say hi to someone and chatting with them a tiny bit alongside posting ontopic) gog promised to mod fairly for shorter periods.

Then a few months later they banned me again for over a month when I civilly pointed out the delisting trend in delisting threads last year and staff took it personally. Add to this wonderful users like foad/Vain/etc derail with politics and ranting and never seem to catch a ban no matter how many reports people file. Now can you see why I hesitate to go such a route and post as I do?

If gog wants users (including myself) to behave and post within their ruleset, they need to moderate fairly and evenly.
