Unfortunately my utter distaste for social media rules me out. I do hope however, that whoever gets the job helps to fix the forum, for it needs some serious fixing, and I don't just mean bugs with avatars and stuff like that. I mean rooting out the trolls, scammers, getting rid of the hopelessly pointless and abused rep... there's a lot to do.

This. I used to be fine with social media, but since it started becoming the primary outlet for the wilfully ignorant and proudly uneducated to flaunt their stupidity, I give it a wide berth. So I'd be mightily grateful if the new "Community Specialist" would go some way to preventing the GOG forums from going down the same path. Excessive moderation à la Steam isn't really the ideal (that being said, Valve has got better at this), but being so permissive towards blatant racism and sexism will only harm GOG in the long run.
