Thanks, but I'm not really a fan of "war" games and their music. Even though this is not the usual "heroic" stuff you also get in many movies. I prefer less serious or realistic approaches like Command & Conquer - the games AND the music. ;)

I love soundtracks, from games and movies. It would be a long list to mention them all. I particularly love war/military and fantasy themed soundtracks. Total War series got nice soundtrack, especially the older ones, by Jeff van Dyke and Richard Beddow. Battlefield series got a nice theme music too. For fantasy, there are a lot as this is my favorite theme. There are Age of Wonders series, Heroes of Might and Magic series, and King's Bounty series from strategy games. There are the Witcher series, Elder Scroll series, Pillar of Eternity, got longer soundtracks, nice calming ambient music.

IMO Olivier Deriviere's Bound by Flame soundtrack is driving, strange, dream-like, and wonderful.
