American McGee's Bad Day LA
Sword of the Stars II. The first one is still a desert island game for me (a desert island with power sockets), and I was looking forward to the sequel for ages with its improved graphics and whatnot. Turned out to be a mess on launch, but apparently several patches have improved on it to make it playable.

I played it a year or two ago. While certainly better than the launch state, it still had campaign-ending bugs that consistently cropped up.

It is unfortunate, but SOTS II is not what I consider playable. Hopefully, SOTS 1 HD or SOTS 3 becomes a thing, because this series has great promise.

Darvond: Outpost 1: The ??? of city builders.
I love the original Outpost game. It is one of my favorites from when I was a kid. I know it had problems, but I have such fond memories of this game. I was so surprised that people said it was bad.

Thing is, it got a good spread of reviews, but I don't think it sold the numbers Sierra wanted/needed at that point, especially since they were that close to being run into the ground. As always.

they dont know what is good for them, that's why parents should choose what games they should play

sots 3 ?:O where when?
sots 2 has the best research tree and faction diversity , too bad the rest of the game is not thought out and buggy

My parents chose Samba De Amigo. That was a mistake.
Not necessarily low-rated titles, per se, but certainly not high on most gamers' lists: The Time Warp of Dr. Brain (1996) and Hoyle Casino Empire (2002). The former is simply a fun, nostalgic puzzle game; medium-difficulty "Monkey See, Monkey Do" is such an addictive time-waster. The latter is a fun (if somewhat limited) business sim whose atmosphere ALWAYS had me pining for Vegas. Oh, to be able to play these games again (or go to Vegas).

D&D Dark Alliance just an example of what is the result of letting low quality games on the stone.
Just look at the reviews on steam , horrible unfinished game.
Another reason why we need even harsher quality requirement not leaner(is this the good word?:O) .
Hope GoG won't let it in, at least with its current form.

I was perfectly capable of picking my own games, thanks. Maybe you need that, but most people don't.
Ride to Hell: Retribution, it is notoriously bad however it's developed a cult following almost to the point of being the video game version of "The Room". Hell this game was a gift from heaven for some Youtube reviewers.
Shira Oka: Second Chances. This was an anime game made by amateur westerners around....2011, I think? You relive the life of a man who died, and is now continuously timelooping during his highschool year. Magic butterflies, buried dinosaurs, poor VAs and writing, gameplay that can't withstand 4+ loops...

I think it is an alright game, because it was the first commercial effort of a new studio. Sadly, it got torn apart by people used to much more polished games. The studio took a great deal of vitriol and the members broke up. I hope they went on to make other creations, but I wouldn't be surprised that the toxicity of players drove them out of the industry.

If they made more than a single game, I think the developers could have left a mark on the Western indie gaming scene. If you enjoy games like Tokimeki Memorial or Princess Maker, you might get a bit of something out of the gameplay.

tfishell: Honestly the "bad" ones that have a lot of wishlist votes. Underworld Ascendant
I watched gameplay after the last update and yeah, looks like perfect GOG material. I'd certainly play it.

And for the list...

Catlevania Lords of Shadow

Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate

Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2
