Higher means better.
In table it lists multithread score, but there are actually two (2) different tests: single thread and multithread, it depends on load... some CPUs are very good at one, but mediocre at another...
So you can just find the CPU which you tested on and then easily compare to other CPUs.
Move your mouse on the CPU, but do not click, instead select "Compare". You can then compare two scores side by side.
Although synthetic, its been very reliable for me on many many different systems.
