You're right on this one. It takes some effort to do so however. As for the multiple accounts, I don't know what system GOG uses. These are only my presumptions. It's easy to fake an IP address these days, so I know there are some methods that allow to detect such things. I don't know whether GOG uses them.

According to https://www.cdprojekt.com/en/wp-content/uploads-en/2016/04/strategy-en-v2.pdf (and other sources) one of the main purposes of GOG is to support CDPR games: As CDPR is planning lotsa "online" stuff for their future (and possibly also existing - especially CP2077) games they will likely use Galaxy for that. But I wouldnt expect them to release any news about it before both sides are done. As CDPR is (far as I understand) currently busy with other stuff this may take a while yet. So even if GOG is secretly working on Galaxy stuff for CDPR games - this doesnt mean they let the public know about it until the time is "right". GOG made losses in Q1 2021 so I am not sure about 'resources'. 2020 was only profitable due to Cyberpunk and as the immediately following quartal was not I would say its fair to say that this(Edit: "this" meaning the CP2077 money boost, not the profitability) was a "one time event". But if GOGs resources are insufficient then CDP is probably funding anything necessary for CDPR games with CDPR profits.

If you compare that to Steam, then yes. But GOG isn't Steam. It's a much smaller company, which has different priorities. Financial results are in the background. The platform is more like a place for experiments and a way of communication with gamers. Do you think that all of the Alphabet (owner of Google) subsidiaries bring profit? Some of them are pure experiments which focus less on financial results and more on introducing new things on the market. Of course the scale is incomparable, but the general rule is quite similar.

That's not fully correct. Every year in GOG's history was profitable. The results differ according to year, but they never went to a loss in the yearly perspective.

Once again I can't agree. GOG will draw profits from CP2077 for a long time. The loss in the Q1 2021 doesn't prove that I'm wrong. We're still before the release of free and paid DLCs which will increase the sale of the game. We also have to keep in mind that CP2077 in the future will be frequently available at a lower price, which will also stimulate player interest. I can bet that the interest in the GOTY version of the game will be huge.

Technically correct, but 'breaking slightly above even' is a more accurate description than "profitable" when talking to anyone. For example, in Feb 2019, GOG laid off a dozen staff after the realized they made 0.021% annual net profit after taxes in 2018 (30k PLN).
