Mafwek: Nope, ends in few hours.

InkPanther: It ends at midnight, I call it second weekend!
Well I don't, unless your weekend consists only of Friday evening.

This one is grumpy, he's definitely one of us.
Banner Saga 2 , Torchlight II 25% off ?
Banner Saga 40% off ?

So what's on sale on Steam ?
So is this the sign of a winter sale launching early, maybe over the weekend?

Or is the GOG crew off getting drunk? Starting the weekend a little early guys?

EDIT: And I think the weekend sale started just as I was typing this...

Will we get WarGroove (a hybrid of Advance Wars & Fire Emblem) at launch today? It's scheduled to drop in fifty-four minutes elsewhere!

Today is Episode IX day at Star Wars Celebration. We'll be getting the title, poster and trailer within hours. I wonder if Disney and GOG have cooked up any new LucasArts releases to commemorate the occasion?
Doesn't look like it. The week-end deal is live, and there's nothing about Disney.

The new releases are coming in another 2/3 hours... GOG's been launching its sales four to five hours before the new games for the past couple months.

So in other words... could still happen. Not that I'm expecting anything until May 4th, however.

I saw that happening sometimes, but I never noticed it as a general rule. Have you observed this as a trend? New releases always coming at around 3 hours after the weekly deals announcements.

I like knowing the schedule of everything I'm involved with. I guess it might have something to do with my min-maxing tendencies in all playthroughs.

I've noticed that, over the past few months, new releases have tended to come at 9 p.m. my time (UTC+7); this past week, a lot of new releases have come between 8 and 9 p.m. my time. Meanwhile, the weekly/mid-week/weekend sales tend to be up (announced or not) by 5:30 p.m. my time. It's been pretty regular. If there is no weekly sale online (announced/otherwise) by 7 p.m. my time, we can generally expect a larger sale... I think the Spring Sale announcement came around 9 p.m. my time in March.

TLDR version: yeah, it's been a trend for a while now.
