my name is sadde catte: my only point was that "human eyes don't work that way" is a bad reason to criticise them just as it would be a bad reason to criticise a cubist painting. To say "That's not what Guernica looks like" is to miss the point. There are better reasons to criticise both.

My first post in this thread was a response to the OP's use of that argument.

I'm afraid I don't have time to reply to the rest of your post, but I'm not ignoring it so please don't take it as a snub.
Agreed that the wording of the OP could use some elaboration. Although more has been said in the thread after that first statement.

It is always nice that someone provides a different view on things, it makes discussions lively and sometimes even enlightening. The effort is appreciated. A pleasure, Catte.
