Funnily enough, when we vote here in Sweden, sometimes the smaller parties don't have their own ballots at every location, so there are always blank ballots you can write anything you want on. Some people show that they don't like any existing party by writing something like "The Donald Duck party" (or "The Mickey Mouse party", or any other non-existing party) on such a blank ballot and use that as their vote. Personally, I think this is great, as it shows some people are willing to make the effort to vote but have the opinion that no existing one is close enough to what they want.
For parties that do have their own ballots at the location you're voting, you can also -if you wish- check the box for your preferred one of their candidates.
