So I've invested about 200 or so hours into this game and today for some reason its suddenly begun to crash without warning. It started when, right [SPOILER ALERT] I saved Ciri and go back to the castle to prepare for the invasion. As I was walking through the castle, I came upon that one dude and other chick who wasn't happy that I didn't invite her personally. Just as I finish the conversation, the game suddenly crashes, with no "Sorry to inform you this game has crashed" notification or anything. Just crashes. Since that conversation is avoidable, I tried to continue the game by ignoring it after it happened three times, but then the same thing happened at the end of the war preparation meeting. Right now I've been verifying/repairing the game itself on GoG but its been stuck at Checking local files (0.0%) for about 10 minutes now. EDIT: literally right as I was about to post it finished updating and is continuing to go...I'm hoping this solve it.

Any suggestions while I wait to see if veryifying/repairing the game will fix it? Thanks.

Have you contacted support? Send them a bug report together with your system specs and the exact crash-message.

Let us know if repair/verify did fix it for you.

Another suggestion would be to try to play it without Galaxy tro see if the problem might be Galaxy related.
