Really, Reddit? Downvotes? Updowns? (is the message I'm supposed to be getting from the downvotes is just "no, nothing like Steam workshop"?) edit: thanks for the gold kind stranger!

Anyway, I edited the o.p. with a side question because I don't know if it really warrents it's own thread:

"edit: side-question: Skyrim original vs Skyrim Special Edition - are there important enough differences (like Doom 3 original or Metro 2033 original) between the two that you'd want GOG to "push" for the original to come here? (since Bethesda presumably wants to push Special Edition only, because of the higher price tag)"

Breath in slowly and deeply, then exchale slowly. Do that for 3 minutes.
Skyrim original vs Skyrim Special Edition,to me the only thing I noticed was the graphics (colour of scenery) were better but anything else was missed by my alert eyes.I am sure some others will contradict me and say this and that and this and that...

Skyrim SE is 64-bit which means you can load as many mods into it as you can without fear of the entire game crashing due to memory constraints
I don't want a steamworkshop like for GOG.
steamworkshop is the worst thing because mods are exclusively for steam version. You can't download mods if you don't have steam version. It's a shame.

Then, i don't want the same thing for gog workshop.

Moreover, there exists open workshop like thenexus or moddb and it would be useless that gog create another workshop.

Okay, thankyou.I must have too many mods as it loves to crash to desktop:)

Edit:On reflection,it's mostly Solstheim that has the problems but easy way around that is saving more often.
