A name or description of the game in question so I don't have to interrupt the thing I'm already watching to know what you're talking about ;)

I mean that game in the youtube link, Mega lo Mania.

It's one of the very first (if not the first) real time strategy games.

I mean wouldn't it be great if there was a remake, since the game was very fun to play, and still is.

Hmmm...never played it. So probably no useful input.

I used to love RTS but the genre as a whole seemed to move towards quick-twitch reactions over strategy.

Mega-lo-mania is far from being the first RTS. Arguably the first was Cytron Masters from 1982, almost 10 years before Mega-lo-mania
Never heard of the game before but after watching the longplay I'd say yes.

Really need more games with unique gameplay that's at the same time not overly complex.
True Amiga classic from the legendary Sensible Software. Great game, not sure how they could improve it without ruining it at the same time.

It was also on the consoles at that time. The SNES looked like it had slight different graphics and better music.

Hey cap'n chicken, is this like " the next crpg hit™ "?

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_next_crpg_hit/page1
I watched a friend play this on Amiga back in the days, and I don't really like RTS games, but I remember that I found the sounds/voiceovers hilarious. I think it might have been pretty outstanding or special at the time to even hear actual spoken words coming out of the speakers?

So I wouldn't really be interested in a remake of the game myself, but if there was one, IMO it definitely should have great or funny speech. :D
I played the game back then. It was fun. Wouldn't mind a remake.
It seems that Sensible produced hit after hit back in those days. I wonder what happened to them and why don't we have small companies with such a golden touch. Or do we have any?

I remember that on the PC we had Bullfrog and LucasArts and Origin and Looking Glass. Do we need big studios to stand out? Is the market too crowded? Are the current consumers too demanding?

I would like to hear a few opinions.
