Well, apparently this is a thing. Didn't see this coming at all. Hopefully it shows up here sooner rather than later (same day release would be awesome).

Can never have enough XCOM!
Releasing on 23rd - half price before 1st of May!

My expectations aren't too high - I'm not expecting a fully fleshed out XCOM game. But you get what you pay for, for 10 euros more XCOM, hell yeah!

Would be nice to see it here - it took a very long time to get XCOM/2 here though...
I agree, the more XCOM games we have on gog, the better :)
Please add this gog :)
Dunno i love the xcom games but not sure if i trust this one :D. Hope we will get a positive suprise when it gets released.
Standalone for 10€ release price seems pretty weird though - i kinda fear that it severely lacks content and/or is unpolished or is just a glorified demo to get people into buying xcom 2 complete and maybe an upcoming xcom 3

Seems reasonable, otherwise you end up potentially being burned with something like The Bureau again (though those among us who enjoyed it - all the better).
Idea is nice, plus the low cost makes it low risk. Does make me think it looks more like a Xcom 2 mod more than anything
Really enjoying the game so far, the breaching mechanic's a great addition.

Did you play Phantom Doctrine? Is it similar to that? I LOVED the breaching mechanic in that game - so great the breach and clear from multiple entry points.

I did play it, also a fun game. It's not exactly the same since you're not actually walking around and then just decide to breach a building, you breach at the start of every encounter and you have 2-3 encounters one after the other, each with a breach in between, which can differ between doors/electric doors, blasting through a wall or going in through a vent, things like that (some requiring items or character abiltiies to use). Different points come with different bonuses and your units can have talents that can be used during a breach as well. When you enter it's not entirely full automatic like in Phantom Doctrine, you slow-mo into every character and decide target with typical XCOM hit/miss chances. Some units will be surprised, others alert or even dangerous (meaning they'll either do nothing or fire back).

There's also different kinds of utility items you can equip to effect the breach.

Ah, gotcha thanks! So it's more like the initial breach is you setting up the terms / bonuses / positions of your attack in a room - that actually does sound interesting.
low rated
Imho just skip this one and wait for xcom 3 or xeonauts 2 .
this Chimera squad is just a dumbed down xcom2 with leftist ideology included.

Ow good lord...

Grats, you figured out it's a small spinoff game (and have some sort of political dislike with the concept)
