Time for my annual note to self to see how games playing went over the last year. Having re-entered Genshin a few months back, that has really limited my paid for games progress towards the end of the year, but I still got some stuff done, all while usually having a load of fun.

My stats at present are: Owned 2050(+33), Finished 355(+20), In progress 74(-2), Backlog 1589(+15). I also played a 116 demos.

My notable completions for the year was, first and foremost, finally completing Zelda: Link's Awakening on my Gameboy Color after 11 years, woot! Furthermore there were Subnautica, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (gold on all stages as racer and cop),The Room 1 and 2 and Hand of Fate 2.

From your page 1 list:

Baldurs Gate I'd like to play again, finally got EE versions from Amazon, but seems BWP mod is abandoned.
Caesar 3 made me realize I'm not big on city sims.
Eye of the Beholder was a decent continuance of the style of Dungeon Master (on the Atari ST !)
DCSS makes me ragequit so I try not to play it.
Grey Matter started fun but her pronunciation of Daedalus kept bothering me... made a thread here about it.
Plants v Zombies was a blast! Really enjoyed it.
Journeyman project 1: I think I had the demo because I never finished. Premise was cool.

This made me look at that list of 9 years ago, and realise how few of those have since gotten done. In 2020 I finished Appointment with FEAR and Starcrawlers, in 2021 Youda Survivor and Stardew Valley, in 2022 Zelda: Link's Awakening, and last year Rooms: The Main Building. Somewhere in between I also finished Elements and FM2011, but I'll always have a career ongoing in the FMs, even if I don't actively play for a good long while
