tinyE: Wings fan? Me too, kind of. I'm a transplant up from Missouri eight or so years ago. My Blues...yeah let's not talk about them...but the WIngs were super sweet last night. Not holding out much hope against that unreal Chicago team but I'll be here watching every game with my Lindstrom sweater on.
Nice! Yeah, I'm holding out hope for some extremely lucky bounces, but in all reality the series will be probably be 5 games. Neverless, it's going to be a lot of fun to watch, as long as none of the games are complete blowouts like that Easter Sunday 7-1 massacre. Besides that game in the regular season, all the other ones were decided by one goal. As long as Detroit doesn't make any glaring mistakes (which Chicago will surely make them pay for), there is a little hope for the Wings.
samlii: Sorry guys but I think we (Chicago) are going to take the cup this year. Every time we've lost we've just got more pissed off and came back stronger the next game. Though I think this Hawks Wings series is going to be fun.
I must say though I am going to miss the Chicago / Detroit rivalry, though the move may mean that it can happen in the Cup game some year. That would be fun.
This will be Chicago's decade, just like the late 90s and most of the 00s were Detroits. They've earned it. They are really talented. But yeah, a Stanley Cup Finals with these two teams is what I'm most looking forward to with the move East!
