The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

Rakuru: So based on the images found previously and what we've seen so far here are my guesses.

Free:
Omerta: City of Gangsters (4 DLCs Included)

Probably not going to be free:
Omerta: City of Gangsters Gold Edition
Omerta: City of Gangsters The Japanese Incentive DLC

3 of these will likely be free today, the others who knows:
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Banished
Outlast: Whistleblower DLC
Still Life 2
Torchlight
Banished
NOOOO, tomorrow I have to wake up early.........

skeletonbow: Yep, but the DLC is also on the list of speculated freebies to show up. :)
Seeing Omerta: City of Gangsters (4 DLCs Included) being a freebie but Omerta: City of Gangsters The Japanese Incentive DLC appearing as a discounted title, my guess is that not all titles that have yet to make an appearance are going to be freebies.
I'd expect Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Still Life 2 and Torchlight to be the most likely candidates for freebies, and the rest to be heavily discounted.

skeletonbow: Press the CTRL key on your keyboard and spin the scroll wheel to zoom in. Then scroll the page slowly. :)

Senteria: Wow I'm blind. I scrolled through it twice before. xD
Another method: Ctrl+F -> "free"

It's the 2nd result of 4, the rest being "DRM-FREE" :)

Nice.... i will take the freebie and what the heck...adding the Japanese DLC
So the version of Omerta that GOG is giving away is the one that is missing a DLC?

Meh, oh well, that's the one I already had. I was hoping to get the last DLC for free, since I don't generally don't buy DLCs on principle...
Great I been wanting to try Omerta for some time now but never was sure if it really suits me. Thanks for the freebie and I did snatch up the Japanese DLC along with it.

Oh crap, you make a very valid point I hadn't considered before! The Omerta game is free, and the DLC is there as well but non-free and hadn't showed up previously at all in the promo so now it can be accounted for. That makes sense. The Gold edition is still an unknown though, but... as you suggest it might now be a promo discount instead of free which comes later on after the freebie period ends.

I certainly hope the other games show up free though, at least Banished. :) But, even if they're just discounted that could be great too.

IAmSinistar: Folks have been saying that Omerta is missing a crucial patch, which is already available on inferior* game delivery services. Can a bluetext comment as to when we can expect it here? Or are the comments out of date and it is indeed already patched?

* My evaluation. Which is usually correct. ;)

TNGpt: I'm one of the idiots that bought Omerta on GOG. I'm afraid that we (those that bought Omerta on GOG) are still waiting for a 1.07 patch that was released awhile back on Steam (last year).

edit: although it has been said that Kalypso will release 1.08 for the GOG version, when that happens remains to be seen
Interesting to know and rather telling of Kalypso's commercial policies, and what it tells is not nice, but rather crude, about as crude as telling a nazi shower joke at a bar mitzvah.
Thank you GOG for Omerta.
Close enough for me to brag...

"Because it amuses me to do so... I predict the "flash" freebie will occur on Tuesday, June 24, at 12pm CST. This is based on no solid information, only my whim."

It's worth noting that Torchlight was once a freebie already (my first game besides the ones that come with the account, actually). But while some people might think that disqualifies it, I think it's fairly likely to make an encore. :)
Thanks GOG for Omerta ! Now I have enough game to play until Christmas, at least :-D

If the flash freebies are spaced four hours apart, your bragging rights will be upgraded. ;)

AttObl: Is Omerta worth the free price?
Well according to the forums, the game is broken as of patch 1.06 and the dev/pub refuses to give the patches that fix it to gog.

Why is GOG giving away a broken game? Why are they even selling it?
