The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

CptFandango: Think I'm gonna have to give up on this last freebie, don't want to be falling of my ladder at work xD . In retrospect i should have just gone to sleep at 12 and set my alarm for 4 to see what it was then gone back to sleep.
Which is what I did, except I set my alarm for 3 and slept through the music for half an hour, then the alarm changed to irritating beeping which woke me up fast, as the rest of the house is still asleep!

Weegee1: Are these are going to be a one chance thing or if the free games will show up again another day in the sale? IF tehy showed up again cool I can get omerta if not oh well I'll live.
Are you sure you'll live, though? I am pretty sure I am dying.

NilEinne: Same here, I was kinda hoping they would say something rhe day before, like they did with the 24 hour giveaway. Still I understand why they may have decided not to.

Personally, I'm more annoyed with the timing thing. From what we've seen, I don't think it's going to be equally spaced throughout the day and so it's likely to end up being less fair to some in some time zones (or who work certain hours). Here in NZ hasn't been terrible, but it hasn't been great either, many we probably sleeping by the time the first giveaway started and annoucement came. They may have been up by the time of the second, although possibly not having time to check out GOG since it's easly morning. If they're lucky they'll notice the third or fourth but there's also a chance they won't (even if they can check from work, it may not be something they want to do regularly).. Of course giveaways like this are always likely to be a bit problematic for those who can't access their account for long spaces in the day and the minor unfairness due to the timing is nothing compared to the Witcher 3 pricing, so let's not go there.

Crewdroog: oh you should have seen the insomnia sale last month. That was my intro to gog and it was insane. a game with x number of copies would post at a great price, and as soon as they went the next game came up. it went three rounds and was random. the threads were hysterical though.
If you like keane "jokes" i suppose they were...

Good point if I miss it again I'll end up dying so I can't miss it. This really is a matter of life and death.

Fictionvision: Gah, waiting for the next freebie made me actually break down a spend some money. I now own Shadow Warrior.

I must keep these mind tricks from working on me again until the next free game rolls around.
Ceville did that to me the other day but I think I've built up immunity now. :)

sedpas: Hah! Sadly no, it's not.

Or wait! Is this the point where i should say "Dave send his regards" and then stab you? :)
Allegedly Rick Astley lives a 20m drive from him and I need to figure out how to pay him off to go do an in-person rickroll at his door front but I haven't figured out how to make that possible yet. :)

txnca: Me? It is only 4:54PM here at the moment. lol I think it is you who needs the nap. After all you were the one that said you were too tired to scroll back and calculate anything. ;-))

HypersomniacLive: It's late at night here, so yes, quite tired, but apparently less tired than you - after all I'm not the one who missed the "Ends" term and had to go guessing what the time stands for. ;-P

Perhaps we should both take a nap - not necessarily together, that is. ^.~
OK, you got me! I honestly did not read that far. I read the game and went to the end and read the time. So, I just totally skipped over that ends part completely! I think I do need to sleep! lol Of course at the time you wrote this I was on my way to my daughters 8th grade grad. It is now 11PM here and I am exhausted, hot and irritated. Sleep needs to come now, but it isn't going to happen any time soon and I have to get up at 6am in the morning, drive my wife to work and go to the Doctor, where I will be poked, prodded and picked on for doing something I should have done, but didn't. At which point I will get mad because I am tired. ;-) Good night!

Sleep makes people depraved? Or were they depraved from being deprived of sleep?

No one wants Torchlight? For those who might have missed it.

I think by the time Torchlight came, word had spread about the giveaways and everyone was glued to their screens to catch the next one.

That said, wouldn't you just like to rest your eyes for awhile, just for a few seconds..

skeletonbow:
Poor Rick probably has that happening to him all the time. Like the Verizon guy and the "can you hear" me business.
I'm going to hang on for the last five minutes of this round, then I'm off to sleep for another couple of hours.
"Hang around?" I've been *gasp* playing previously purchased games while waiting! The horror... now if only Knock, Knock or Aftershock would show up again... as I am 1) getting sleepy and 2) starting to worry I'll miss them before the end of this thing. You'd think after buying a handful of games I wouldn't be fretting about the 2 I vacillated on... you'd be wrong.
