The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

MiKiL: *Throws wallet at the screen*
Catches wallet falling from the screen. Didn't realise GOG did peer to peer however gratefully accept the extra cash. Would you like the moths back?

Gnostic: How come these games are not shown on the main page and they are on sales. Now that I see it Master of Orion is on sales too without notifying on the main page
avatar
mrking58: You want them to show all 700 games on the front page?
Re-Read the sales promo message

Gasp! most of 700 games 50% off already? The wait is just for deeper discount?

GOG had you gone berserk in competing with steam?

mrking58: Epiphany is going on sale? :/ That is a brand new game
avatar
awalterj: It appears so, here's a screencap I just took.

I hope it's at least 50% off which would be great. At a lesser discount one might as well wait for the next sale, but I don't want to appear greedy as this is a very new game so I won't be upset if it's only a 30% something discount.

Instabuy if it's at least 50% off though!
It was an instabuy for me when it went on pre-order
woot! finally i catch a sale before it emails me :D

Speaking of which, where's my Blackwell Chronicles Collector's Edition Box Set?

Elmofongo: Is Divinity 2 like Elder Scrolls and Risen? Seamless Open World Action RPG?
Divinity 2 is not open world as TES games (haven't played Risen, so can't judge). It's made of large areas that are walled off from one another, BUT each area is huge (not Skyrim huge, obviously, but still quite big). Furthermore, you can solve the game's quests in many different ways, without any morality system standing in your way. Add to that Larian's great sense of humour, an amazing soundtrack, class-free character development, and the ability of turning into a dragon, and you've got an extremely enjoyable game.

The Dragon Knight Saga version of Divinity 2 has ironed out the kinks of Ego Draconis, and I can't recommend that game enough if you're looking for a fun and rewarding Action-RPG. :)

I'm sure it's totally worth its full price but have set $10 as my pain limit for games regardless of whether they are old or new so a sale like this is a godsend. This is good for the developers too because there surely is a large number of people who have wishlisted this and will only buy it on sale. The sooner the sale, the sooner Wadjet gets the money and can pour it into their current projects.

PaterAlf: For me it's $30 on the homepage as well as on the gamecard or when I put it in my cart and checkout. No regional price.
$29.99 for me as well - did anything change?
my payment could not be processed due to technical reasons. Is everyone having the same problem or should I blame my phone?

Edit: never mind, I just got an email stating my order came through even if the purchase screen couldn't confirm it. I just hope I won't be charged twice for my two attempts.

NoNewTaleToTell: Gameplay-wise, are the action parts of Divinity: Dragon Commander at all similar to Divinity II: Developer's Cut? Or is it like a complete different game in every way?
You get to fly around in dragon form amidst the RTS battles if you so choose, but even that feels somewhat different from the Divinity II dragon. I'd call it a completely different game. Dragon Commander dragon feels closest to the final endgame dragon sequence in Div II: DC.

30 bucks for us Krauts as well, both on the homepage and the gamecard.

Their servers are probably bombarded by half the internet. You might want to try contacting support if games you bought aren't showing up.

Smannesman: Nope, walled off areas.
Large areas, but still not open world.

Elmofongo: What about two worlds are they more like Elder Scrolls and Risen?

I got the first one from as a steam gift but I could not play because something to do with graphics issue when I launched immediatly it say program is not working. But before I clicked play two worlds it also gave me another option to use Launch Two Worlds-Radeon 9600 Compatibility Mode?
I'd call Divinity II "Two Worlds with a wayyyyy better story, but a bit more walled off. And dragons." ;D
