No one is asking you to limit your random gifting on the forum. Just to alter the way you do it, a bit. For instance:
- You could donate your codes to the BBBBOB GA, hosted by foxworks and Sachys - PM either one with your codes and they'll add them to the pool of prizes that are given away (it is a weekly event, currently on hiatus).
- State what game you have a code for and ask them to reply to your post, then PM the code to them - this is the so called "Make a Human Answer You" method.
- Switch the blocks of the code around and state how they need to be rearranged.
- Obscure one or more of the characters in each block and state what needs to be substituted with what.

I hope it's all clearer now. :-)

And if your LBA code is not redeemed yet, you might want to apply something from the above in terms of giving it away.

You know, I had considered trying to find some people to do a bit of forum rp but honestly wasn't sure if that wouldn't invite more trolling attempts and buffoonery in the thread than a group of forumites having a go at some interactive storytelling. Even have several ideas for a setting and ways to make it more interactive between a storyteller/DM and a party of players. I've been sitting on it because I never knew there might be interest.

It depends on the settings and rules, I suppose. I haven't RP'd too much for past couple of years because I had recently had to deal with some jackass that refused to separate me and my character and godmodding to an insane degree. A few characters have been put on the shelf to help a friend get his comic book company up and going and have more material to use. So I'd be making characters from scratch instead of having different versions of some ideas I've used over the years for practice.
