They did post that Full Throttle gif on their facebook.
But there have been references to 'I have no mouth and I must scream' too.

Full Throttle would be an instant buy.

I don't think the game is anywhere near done, no. But what I saw at E3 was pretty sweet. :P

Well they said on the kickstarter page that they had a year and a half of work to do in April 2012 so they're got 2 months or they're promised release date will have slipped and that sort of thing is just unknown in the industry, as we know (I'm looking at you, Duke Nuke'em)!
