For some reason I have wishlisted on my Steam account The original Counter Srike 1.0 (or 1.6) and Condition Zero along with Counter Strike Global Offensive?

Just to ask from both a Multiplayer and Single Player value, is there any reason for me to buy Counter Strike 1.6 over Counter Strike GO?

Are they exactly the same so go with Global Offensive? Or is there some value in owning the original along side Global Offensive?

As to Condition Zero which I heard is more a single player oriented game. Any value in that game>

Get CS GO.If you don't already care about 1.6 it doesn't matter which you get.
CS GO is still being supported with updates.
Don't get CZ it's awful.

Whats wrong with Condition Zero? I thought it was something like a Tactical Shooter like Rainbow Six (not exactly like Rainbow Six of course)

I don't remember exactly. Mostly the fact that it has an unnecessary Single Player campaign and multiplayer that's pretty much 1.6 but with some changes and a smaller userbase.
CS 1.6 has solid controls. I played 1.6 for nearly 10 years and Cs:Go = Cs Source for me.
I just spent my 34 hours for Cs:Go and i'm still playing 1.6.
Aim and recoil mechanics are changed at GO also hitbox is really bad. Get Cs Complate pack and you should try two versions of Cs. My opinion is Cs Go really easier than 1.6. Cs 1.6 has better mechanics , if you do any mistake on Go you can fix it if you really know what you have to do. If you do any mistake on 1.6 probably you will wait for next round.
Go is young and has nice graphics. If you want to play CS with nice graphics play Go but if you need solid gameplay 1.6 is awaits you.

No. CZ was just a really painful and failed attempt to improve Counter-Strike by letting professional game developers work on it. At its core Condition Zero is just classic Counter-Strike with "better" character models, maps and tons of other minor changes the community never accepted. The main single player portion is just a series of regular multiplayer maps with bots, just like you know it from Unreal Tournament and Quake 3. The bots are pretty good but it's really just classic Counter-Strike gameplay.

As a bonus it includes "Deleted Scenes" which was salvaged from earlier attempts to create a plot-driven single player campaign for CS. And it's one weird mess. It's like a poor man's Modern Warfare several years before Modern Warfare was released. And the weapon behaviour from CS feels just weird in a single player campaign.
I stopped playing Counterstrike after they started releasing sequels to the original version... they weren't quite the same after that... I don't think I ever played Global Offensive but Condition Zero definitely sucked. The original was one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played, so as long as there are still people playing it I would suggest that one :)

In a way Condition Zero should have been bundled with the original game, Like Ultima 1+2+3 :P

I doubt they would, Half Life and Half Life Source are still sold seperately.

I haven't played GO yet but I definitely preferred CS: Source over all earlier CS versions. The movement, the hit boxes, the gun behaviour etc.. All of these things were hugely improved in Source IMO.
I have played 20 hours in cs 1.6 and almost 40 in csgo.
I played cs 1.6 first, really liked it, wasn't very good, got banned on several servers (some for cheating which I really did not do) and moved away because of this.

cs go seemed very bad at first playing compared to cs 1.6 (could have been the linux port at the time) so I put it away and then came back to it and found it really fun and the anti-cheating system much better so people don't accuse everybody of cheating all the time(well compared to cs 1.6). I really like it in many different ways; I also make small gun sales on the market for extra steam credit for steam (exclusive) games which is nice :)

also disable the peoples voices if that bothers you (like me), makes the game much more enjoyable :)

p.s. cs cz just sucks, I regret buying it but it came in a bundle pack with csgo :\
