From video games, the new Torment is probably the top one, even though it's still too far away to even guess at how it's going to shape up.
From movies, it would probably have to be the Neuromancer movie, although it has been in development hell for so long now that it's probably foolish to hope that it would turn out to be any good.
From books, it's probably The Doors of Stone, the last part of the Kingkiller Chronicle. The second part was a bit of a disappointment, but hopefully he will step up his game and deliver on the long setup. If this ends up being another installment of "Kvothe fucks around in the university", I'm probably going to ragequit and stop reading anything from Rothfuss in the future.
