MikeMaximus: Are you able to disable the switchable mode in the BIOS and force it to use the dedicated chip only? If you can you should be able to use drivers from the AMD website.

I had to do that with my Alienware laptop since Dell stopped updating their drivers after a single update.
It only has integrated and switchable for some stupid reason.

If you have a S/N or a SNID we can help you look for drivers. I'm sure they are still around.

I also have a notebook with switchable graphics and I use modified drivers that have the switchable graphics fix for latest AMD drivers. Do you know which AMD GPU series your dedicated card belongs to? Also you can use the link below to download the latest drivers.

I hope the drivers work for you so that you can play the game, as I know it can be extremely annoying and frustrating when you get a new game but are unable to play it due to technical issues.

Oh, that looks like it could work perfectly, I'm right in there with a 6650M. On the list of steps it says to disable driver signature enforcement? How would I do that?

djdarko: Rule 1, never buy a brand manufactured computer.

But because you already did, try this:

Find out what type of driver it uses, and download it directly from Intel, AMD, Nvidia, etc.

Force the installation using "Legacy" mode.
They aren't all bad.

I got it working and now Wolfenstein is running well. Massive thanks to stg83 for his massive help.

Also, TinyE, I didn't play a whole lot, but I had to tear myself away to tell you guys it worked, so at least so far I'm thinking it's pretty good. Shooting's real good.

And this is why lately I've only bought laptops where I can install the GPU manufacturer's driver's. And usually only with Nvidia.

I recently had a similar issue with my work laptop (HP ProBook 6470b)), it has only integrated Intel graphics though. HP has quite old graphics drivers on their site, and the newer drivers from the Intel site refused to install because they felt I should use official HP drivers.

For me the fix was to uninstall the old HP drivers first, and then install the newer Intel drivers. Then I didn't get the same refusal.
