Beat me to it! Damn :D

Actually, one way to "homebrew"your achievements is to take a screenshot or make a video of you accomplishment using FRAPS or Xfire's recording utility...

Yes, good old games require you do some of the work yourself instead of pressing the "awesome" button.

Dahmer666: Any chance of an achievements system added to the games of gog.com? It seems to be the latest trend and I've been suckered in. PSN and XBL have these and I believe steam as well.

Sorry if this has already been posted/requested, I did a search and nothing turned up.
I hope, I have acomplished here the achievement of getting beyond this normally quite silly achievements.

Although we could have some "achievements" maybe in the forum:

* Your thread was deleted by the administration
* You mentioned Hitler
* You complained about lousy response from GOG's customer service
* You bought too many silly games and never played them,
* Holder of the One And Only Truth - True Follower of GOG - Keeper of the DRM Free
(aka 100 posts praising DRM free)
* Lazy guy - You posted from within your bath tub
* Purple heart - You bought and completed "The Longest Journey" while reading all the dialoges
* Steam hammer - You repeated your disapproval of Valve's Steam service at least a hundred times
* Arbitrariness - You changed your opinion at least twice a day on five topics
