The biggest announcement in GOG.com's history went up, champagnes popped and finally the dust has settled. It's time to sum up things a bit.
Thanks to our hard work and to your help in spreading the word, the news about GOG.com and Activision was all over the internet. Among all those news and articles, there were also interviews with GOG staff. Here's a list, enjoy!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys are up to next ;P.
Oh, this comes handy. I was wondering yesterday evening how one could catch up on all the articles about this announcement, seeing there are a number of them scattered all over the internet.

Me too. =D
Nice list, I've read all of them already but I love sum ups like this and the retrospectives one. Looking forward for the future batch of GOG interviews, March is close. ;)
Just out of curiosity, how many new users and lurkers did the announcement and countdown bring out of the woodwork? I've noticed lots of silhouettes for avatars and 1 and 2 reps around the board.

You know what's great ? It seems like these guys won't post unless it's in a polite, reasonable and slightly eloquent way.
This means that we can both have a large AND classy community *^^* !
From the gamezebo interview:
Besides Gabriel Knight and Arcanum, can you give us a heads-up on other titles we'll see down the road?
It would not be exciting at all if I would list all the titles here. Let me just say, that we have some really good stuff coming. Something for the RPG fans, quite a lot for the adventure lovers, some strategy games and ... oops ... I am really saying too much.
Now, i see Betrayal At Krondor and the Quest series, which will all end up on my gog-shelf, but what's the strategy, i've got to admit, i never really followed the genre. So, am, what's are Your bets? I'd say Homeworld, but someone wrote somewhere that the rights are not in Activision's hands.
GOG, just coming from a fan:
Don't make your prices higher than 10 bucks. It's not worth it.
"Some 3 year old games deserve more than 10 dollars."
No. No, they really do not.
You can't let your initial price points be bossed around by publishers. They'll come around sooner or later.

I guess it also depends on how old the game is. We have very old and not so old games in here. Also, if the game is somewhat recent and includes the expansion or some such, it could go up higher in price for getting the bundle. As far as I know, GOG doesn't sell any expansions on their own (without the original game included).

Yes, yes they are.
to gog, please dont release a bunch of adventure and neglect other genres, mix it up a bit. not all of us are adventure fans.

I second this. Adventure and RPG games are fun and I play them from time to time but my favourite genre is strategy, preferably turnbased.
Nice list of articles. It's always fun reading that GOG is doing great. :)

I sure hope they are the old Impression city-building games! (Caesar II-III, Pharaoh+Cleopatra, Zeus+Poseidon).
+1 for Caesar III!

I may help you posting my hopes, too!
I've never played the first Caesar, so I would like to play all the games and their respective expansions. Even Caesar IV, if possible to have on GOG. :)
