I came across this After Action Report on King of Dragon Pass.

Looks like a great strategy game with lots of nice hand drawn art. You can get it here (http://a-sharp.com/buy/) but its $20 and they have to burn you a CD. It would be nice if it was downloadable and guaranteed to work on Vista and/or XP like all GOG games. Plus, I bet they could sell it for a lot less than $20.

I remember playing the demo of that decades ago. It wasn't bad.
Reminded me a bit of Lords of Midnight (now that's a game that needs a modern remake)
Bought the game from A-Sharp a while back, great, great game. Love to see it on GOG, but I recall from a mailing list I can no longer find that it was claimed digital distribution would be difficult, for technical reasons which I cannot remember.
Anyway, yeah, I'd love to see it on GOG.
Yeah I had a thread about this some time ago. Really great game, despite no real "gameplay graphics". I'd buy this from GOG in a blink when it's out. I don't mind buying from A-Sharp directly, but at $20, it's kind of a rip off, considering all I get is a CD.
From the FAQ:
Will you be adding *insert game/publisher here* to the GOG library?
GOG does not release specific information on prospective games or publishers until they already have agreements in place. They will not comment on who or what they are trying to get, only what they do have. Check the site's main page for news on what is coming soon, it gets updated every Thursday.
I have been hoping for this game ever since GOG started. I suppose the fact that it is based on a licensed property could make matters a bit complicated.

Well it works without problems on XP Pro SP3 at least. And it would definately sell more on GOG than it is now.

Awesome game. The installer did not work on Windows 7 x64 but you can simply copy the required files to your hard drive, copy the patch files and play it, as long as you got the cd in the drive. Other than the installer issue, it works just nice.
Fantastic game. I'd love to see that show up here.
It does look very good. But they don't seem keen on digital distribution. Still, maybe when they wake up and realise that a. GOG do most of the work in converting the game to digital distribution format, b. they could be making a whole load more money than they are, they'll change their minds.
