I almost never tell people that I love tokusatso because people kinda find weird that a guy in his early 20's love japanese tv shows.
now you must be curious what are my favourites and here's a little list:
Ultraman Tiga
Kamen Rider Black,Kabuto,One
Johnny Soko and his Flying Robot*
Jiban*
Jaspion*
Changeman*
Flashman
Tokkei Winspector
National Kid*

now that I got that out of the way,I always wanted to say that I still watch and own some DVD's of Toku(the * is for the ones that I own the DVD's) do some of you also share this passon of mine(specially brazilians, remember TV Manchete and the anime that it showed?for Christ sake, they aired Genocyber once)?

I've only ever been a huge fan of Kamen Rider Black (not RX), and Chodenji Bioman.
KRB was one of my first toku that I ever watched

Well if they think you're weird, they'd think I bizarre...I've been a fan of Toku for almost 30 years. I absolutely love most Kamen Rider series Showa and Heisei era, Ultraman, a number of Sentai series, and more. Speaking of Kamen Rider, I just got Battride War and it is friggin awesome! :D

Also, I am really liking Kamen Rider Wizard, since it has some darker elements that were sadly missing during Fourze's run.

edit: Tokusatsu = epicness

I can't get myself to watch any of the other KR shows. I was very upset when KRB was introduced into the KR series lineage instead of being a stand alone show as intended by Ishinomori. Over here, the TV show never aired the finale as the show got canned right around episode 38. There's a recent English translation of the entire show which was really good, so I managed to catch up with the entire storyline.

KRB is my favourite and will always be my only KR.
I need to watch KRW,the design of the costume is freaking awesome.
but I can't watch any Ultraman that is not Tiga, maybe Hayata,Tiga is the perfection of the Ultraman series.and Changeman is sooooooo much fun to watch
I don't care is it is over the top, cheesy with bad special effects, because the formula stands the same(good vs evil, good always wins) and that's why I love it so much

I recommend it because Wizard is rather awesome for the most part, there are quiet a few good fansub groups out there that make the show accessible to non Japanese speaking fans. I wish Toei would release their box sets with English subs, but sadly they don't seem interested in doing so. No worries, we all have our tastes, I mean I'm not particularly fond of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, or Saban's Masked Rider, though I am very fond Ryuki and Black/Black-RX.
I love some of the silliness that is present in Toku (particularly Kamen Rider), it is part of the charm of the shows. Faiz is actually one series I think has some of the same heart as Black did. :)
Don't mention Masked Rider on any toku forum unless if you want to attract a firestorm.now if you REALLY want to stir them up mention VR Troopers

That Saban show is one of the worst things I have ever known.

Some of the silly stuff are things I cannot tolerate. I remember rolling my eyes when the Shonen warriors were introduced in KRB. I so wanted them to perish. Only 1 died!!!

Tell me about it, I loathe Saban's Masked Rider with a heated passion of a thousand suns. I mostly meant it as an example of how in such cases the original version is a lot better.

Since when?!

Every single brazilian male that age watched that stuff. From my experience you can come into a room full of people that age and say the word "Jiraiya" and hear a series of sighs and people whispering "Ahhh...Jiraiya..."

That being said my favorites were Jiraiya, Jaspion and Winspector. Not my favorites but I also watched Kamen Rider Black RX ( less so of Black), Jiban, Cyber Cops and Spielvan (AKA Jaspion 2). I watched a bit of Changeman and Flashman but I never liked those, or super sentai in general for that matter.

I never had Manchete so I never watched any of these on TV, instead I rented them on VHS on video stores, that meant I was heavily dependent on the selection they had. That means I've never seen any of these in its entirety, but I watched the ones they did have so much that my parents had to tell me that if I watched a tape more then ten times per rental they'd have to pay again. That's right, I watched them so much that they had to bring my viewings down to ten. As a consequence, even though I might never have watched all the episodes, I remember all those shows a lot better than some of my friends who did.

I was going to link to a thread you made about this a couple of months ago, but I guess since you're here I won't have to introduce you to him,
