I am a fresh owner of android 10'' tablet. It is the first android based device I am personally using and I don't feel like making a thorough research on my own. Are there any proper games that I can give a try? My favourite genres are fpp shooters, rpg and strategy games. I already know touch based ui does not work with fpp games at all.

I am specificaly asking about games that are playable on a tablet, not the ones that can be run. And yes, I do realize there are tons of "games" on the platform. There is nothing wrong with timekillers but I mean real games.
Well, I enjoyed The Bard's Tale on my phone. I'm guessing it would be more enjoyable on a tablet though. I think Anomaly: Warzone Earth would also work well.
The Last Express has recently come out. ScummVM works pretty good too along with Dosbox Turbo though it can be a pain to set up.
Broken Sword I & II
Final Fantasy games

I managed to play for longer period of time only The Middle Manager of Justice by Double Fine. It's mostly about grinding, though.
I'm looking forward to Shadowrun Returns and Deus Ex: The Fall, which should be available soon.

Shooters do work, just not optimally. You can try Dead Trigger and The Conduit and see if you like them (they're free). There are other shooters, many of which cost money.

You should check other android gaming threads here.
Magic the Gathering: Duel of the Planewalkers 2014
Avadon The Black Fortress

It works as intended on my Nexus 7 and with the bigger screen on Nexus 10 it will be even better.

It's a very solid indie RPG and I clocked around 15 hours of total gameplay on Hard with turned to Normal against 3 bosses, but I played my first playthrough on Windows.

NOTE: I would recommend getting the game here but I don't think GOG's version is compatible with Android, you'll have to buy it at Play Store.

Bigs: Magic the Gathering: Duel of the Planewalkers 2014
Thanks. I didn't know this was available on Android and F2P. Probably won't play it a lot, but it's worth a try.
Thanks for the feedback so far. It seems I wasn't clear with my first post though, so let me add I mean both native android ports and dosbox titles that work any good on a tablet (I realize there are issues not only with performance but foremost with controls).

As a sidenote, Gog is and should remain a PC market oriented site but it would be nice if I had an option to obtain android version of a game I buy here, if it exists of course. I am even willing to pay something extra for that. These times you are no longer so attached to a single platform any more.
don't know if it's on android as well, but classic Warlords went free on ipad
I downgraded from my smartphone because it was on the fritz, I can get by on 12 dollars a month with a dumb phone. I haven't gotten a tablet to replace it yet. Im poor )-:

I did enjoy Dink Smallwood on my phone. The PC version is free though, so it may or may not be worth it to you.

Hunters: Episode One seemed really promising, but I only had it for about a few days before I no longer had access to it. Its turn based strategy similar to table top squad level table top war games. Each day there a few missions to play. You can play them as many times as you want, but its really meant to just play a little bit each day. It seemed pretty solid. I thought it was a bit simple at first, but I really got into it after a few missions.

Its one of those small little games that you aren't looking for, but I have to mention Mini Squadron. I love that game so much. There is a ton of planes to unlock. I never got around to getting the sequel, because I was too busy trying to unlock everything in the original first.

There is a game called Dangerous that looked like a pretty hardcore freelancing space RPG, but my phone couldn't handle it.

I liked playing Delver sometimes. It has the standard touch based FPS controls though, so you may not be into it. Its probably easier to manage in Delver though, since Its more about melee combat.

Oh yea, I forgot that Out Of This World is on android. Its not for everyone, but If you think you might like it, its half the price on Android. I don't know how it controls on Android though.
Don't be afraid to try some actual tablet games. Many of them are very well thought out and actually quite a bit of fun.
What do you mean by proper? I know that LSL is available for Android.

They can be totally addictive though.
