I bought it the day it came out from Gamestop.
It has a wonderfully performing engine that makes the most out of GPUs as old as ATI x1600 cards.
The gameplay is solid, controls are perfect, great camera, and thick RPG elements.
However if you are not familiar with the rule set of the German RPGs of Drakensang, then this game will be a bit confusing to you, as it was to me.
I grew up playing D&D and AD&D as well as all the D20 CRPGs like Baldurs Gate and NWN.
If you don't mind how generic Drakensang seems, then by all means play it, its a good game overall.
But if you grew up with the D&D ruleset, I recommend you stick to Never Winter Nights 2 and its 2 great expansions, Mask of the Betrayer being the best expansion.
I hope this helps :)
Oh and I forgot to say, but I returned my copy of Drakensang for store credit towards Empire Total War(I cannot believe they let me do that!) I just wasn't comfy with the rule set and I figured I'd just play NWN2 again while I wait for Dragon Age.
stonebro: Drakensang just got launched on Steam

Anybody give a good whirl yet? How is it? Should I buy it?
