It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

EDIT: Nm. Confirmed to be an issue unrelated to GOG itself. GOG staff feel free to delete this thread.

Last week, I got a steady 200-300 KB/s from GOG. This week, I'm getting wildly varying speeds from 0-300 KB/s. I'm seeing frequent drops down to 0 KB/s for periods of time.

I use the Firefox add-on DownThemAll. I haven't configured it to do anything sneaky (default config).

My connection doesn't seem to be the problem, but I could be mistaken.

Also: If a file passes GOG "file integrity" check during install, does that mean that it's not corrupt *with certainty*? I ask because the connection to GOG dropped to 0 KB/s several times during my last game download. The game seems to install and play properly, but I'm a bit nervous about possible issues later on if some part of the file was corrupted (loss of save games in a long RPG is no trivial matter).

Anyways, it's not vital that I have my most recent purchases today. I'm just wondering what might be wrong here.

I don't know about you but I downloaded JA2 a few days ago on a 3G connection and no hiccups whatsoever. The download was faster than McDonald's :D.
@JudasIscariot: Worked great for me last week. I've got no prob w/200-300 KB/s. But this spotty connection thing has me a bit worried.

Who's your provider?
@JudasIscariot: Not sure. Apartment mate handles set up. I just connect to the wireless router & go. I know a bit about networking, but I'm lazy & cheap sometimes. ;-)

Connection seems fine otherwise, tho.

Urg. Just had GOG timeout at 0.92 of 1.50 GB of Fallout Tactics (after swinging wildly about between 0-300 KB/s and dropping to 0 KB/s for a bit several times). Giving up attempt to download. Going to go enjoy the fantastic weather we're having here instead. Prob for the best anyway. ;-) Will try again later or tomorrow.

Maybe your router is improperly set up....
