EDIT: Nm. Confirmed to be an issue unrelated to GOG itself. GOG staff feel free to delete this thread.
Last week, I got a steady 200-300 KB/s from GOG. This week, I'm getting wildly varying speeds from 0-300 KB/s. I'm seeing frequent drops down to 0 KB/s for periods of time.
I use the Firefox add-on DownThemAll. I haven't configured it to do anything sneaky (default config).
My connection doesn't seem to be the problem, but I could be mistaken.
Also: If a file passes GOG "file integrity" check during install, does that mean that it's not corrupt *with certainty*? I ask because the connection to GOG dropped to 0 KB/s several times during my last game download. The game seems to install and play properly, but I'm a bit nervous about possible issues later on if some part of the file was corrupted (loss of save games in a long RPG is no trivial matter).
Anyways, it's not vital that I have my most recent purchases today. I'm just wondering what might be wrong here.
