COMMUNISTS!
Sorry, cold war reflex. I need a bit of linguistic help, a friend of mine was telling me earlier that the phoenetic russian for "I love you" sounds near identical to the phoenetic english for "yellow blue bus".
This sounds like something from one of those bullshit emails that've been bouncing around since darpanet, is this even vaguely true or does it at least have some basis in a sound where if you heard an echo of it over a phone in another room when you weren't paying attention might sound sort of like it?
I'm not planning to use it on a mail order bride or anything (then again, if I get this job...), I just want to settle my bullshitometer.
This is relevant to my interests
So I found evidence supporting the notion that what you say is correct.
Also this one, but it -is- yahoo answers.
I = Я = Ya
love (depending on context, I believe) = люблю = lublu
you (also depending on context) = вас = bas
All in all, "yellow blue bus" seems a pretty decent approximation.
All with the help of a slight knowledge of Cyrillic characters and additional help from google translate and wikipedia.
... now, I hope the GOG.com forums is made with unicode in mind (or at least some encoding of Cyrillic characters), else this post will look weird.
EDIT: Yep, it worked.

It is really close to the truth, Capitalist friend :-). Spelling it directly is - "Ya lyublyu vas". So no bullshiting there. :-)

I've got some other suggestions you could try. Do you own a video camera, an iguana and a jar of crunchy peanut butter (won't work with smooth)?
