NOW that's nice news. Discuss.
Been following this one for a while, here's a list of articles summarised on RPG watch.
Looking good from my view, and it reminds me that I never completed divdiv1
I don't remember playing the previous games, perhaps I should try to remedy that somehow. That one looks pretty awesome, though I'll most probably have to upgrade my box to run it decently.
Thanks for linking! We actually interviewed Swen Vincke for our podcast, which will be going up sometime tomorrow evening. He answers some questions about Divinity 2... and I totally convince him to release Divine Divinity on GOG!

just started listening to it, seriously, the ventrilo clicks, windows 7 error notices, and reverberation is annoying as hell.
Also, the questions that Chris poses are kind of like "you decided to do a simultaneous release.... WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT YOU GODDAMN IDIOT?!!?"
Of course that level of profanity wasn't used, and it was more polite, however I did get this feeling from the host, he seemed to be rather pushy on that topic.

There's no Ventrilo clicks. There's two instances of Windows Mail sounds, that's when Swen was talking. I'm not going to remove what he said because of a small sound.
Reverbation is not easy to take out. At all. If I really really wanted to, it would sound like a pile of shit. And it's not worth it.
Interviews are supposed to be pushy. It'd be boring as hell just asking the straight dope questions that aren't that exciting.

Oh, when I get home, I'll give you the exact time that I heard what sounded like the ventrilo noise. Reverberation is difficult, and I actually think it came from Sven's end.
Also, removing background noise shouldn't be too terribly difficult, mashup "artists" do it all the time. :/
About the being pushy part, I didn't mean for it to come out negative, it was supposed to be a compliment.

Listening now. Great interview with Swen Vincke. You guys were polite and very firm with your questions. It was also really cool of you guys to suggest GOG as a distribution option.
Here's hoping!
Edit:
Hey GOG, Swen said he is going to get in contact with you guys about the remastered Divine Divinity! I'd take that as an invitation to contact him if you don't hear from him soon. :D
