A simple question. Perhaps something more difficult to answer.

I appreciate that.
I also see one or two zealots against giveaways and their entrants.

I have one copy of Gorky17 on GOG to gift to someone that can prove to me they are neither leech, nor zealot through forum post links. If I am to find otherwise through a search, I will state so in thread.

I want to test the waters here after bad experiences elsewhere.

As bug ridden as the game may be, it is VERY atmospheric and worth playing - particularly to TBS and Final Fantasy fans.

Not really sure if I would be considered a leech. I've entered a few giveaways, but with no real expectations of winning. Much like playing the lottery but at least I don't lose anything for not winning. lol. Sometimes it just seems like a fun "game" set up by the game "provider", and as luck would have it.....I enjoy games, go figure. All in all I did get 1 free one someone was giving away awhile back when I missed the GOG giveaway session for reasons I cannot remember.

Either way, not in for this one but still a +1 for the give away.

I'm neither a leech nor a "GA's are bad" zealot... I might, however, be a bit of a GA slut having gifted over 500 games since I've been a member of GOG. But lately I've slowed in my gifting...yeah, gotta get back on the gift horse and look him in the mouth ;-p

For your information, I have been reading various threads from this forum for some time, and narrowly missed the summersale this year. I am quite new because of it.

Also, I am suprised none have entered yet - would it be better if I rephrased my initial post? I fear it may come across as unpleasant now I think about it, and it was those kind of people I wished to deter with it.

46175, I think that people are probably... err... intimidated by 1. the thought of trying to prove these things to you, and 2. tooting their own horn, so to speak. ie. "Hey, look what a great GOGger I am!"

That being said, nothing intrigues me more than a compelling, atmospheric game, so I'd like to be in if I may. I don't know when I'll have a chance to play it, so if that bothers you, please disregard my entry.

How to prove I'm not a leech? Well, you could certainly find posts where I ask for games being offered to the first to respond, as well as entries in giveaways. If you cared to look, you'd also see that I've done multiple giveaways of my own, both for the GOG Steamgifts and on the forum itself, as well as started topics to discuss games, genres, likes and dislikes, and most recently, a Best way to say "Thanks!" Playing those games! thread. It will take me a long time to properly thank everyone who's gifted games to me, but I'm going to enjoy every second of it :D

However things turn out for your giveaway, welcome to the forum, and I hope that you have better experiences here than you seem to have had elsewhere :)

I will be honest and say that I participate in any giveaway where there is a game that interests me, mainly RPGs, strategy games or indie gems, but I also post a lot and in a lot of threads. I would post link, but I'm not even sure where to begin with, so a quick search of my name in the Community or General Discussion section should give you an idea of what I am. Of course that is entirely up to your interpretation.
