When I was about 4 or 5 my family was visiting relatives in NY/NJ and we took a trip to Coney Island where I nearly drowned. Good times!

Not a fan of the ocean or sea, way too many things in there that scare the crap out of me LOL
But, one of the best vacations I've had has been a cruise. Actually very relaxing to sit out on your balcony and just feel the tension melt away as you watch the sunrise or set :)

One of my memories from the sea is when my family went on vacations. My mother and I were at the beach and she told me: -"Look! There's a turtle over there!" I went to grab it but as I got closer I realized that it was a crab D:

Mom tells me that, despite being disabled, I liked going to the beach when I was young, which I remember well (not crystal clear, but still). What I don't clearly remember is what made me avoid it...I have the faintest memory of a crab with its shell in yellow but I don't even know (mom neither!).

Since then, I (well, when I go on vacations with my family) only go to pools. I enjoy it more that way, anyway. :)

My funniest memory of the sea is a few years old, when I was at the beach with one of my best friends. He's a bit of an airhead though and he often forgets his stuff everywhere. That day however, he thought it was a good idea to take his new cellphone to the beach. Unfortunately, he forgot to take it out of his pocket when he jumped into the ocean -.- . Afterwards they removed as much parts and laid them out to dry, but I don't think that cellphone was still functional after that xD
