I am a bit dissapointed to not see Witcher and Witcher 2 on sale for Black Friday, especially since CDP online shop has a huge sale for the title.

I hope perhaps this winter holidays they don't forget about their epic RPG and I'll probably snap both of them (even though I have W1 on CD) and some other gems here.

I hope Santa hears me? :)

If you have The Witcher 1 or 2 on DVD, you can simply get a backup for free.

Because of this and the extensive amount of saes they do on their games, I kinda wonder how anybody (who wants it) not already has this.
Isn't black Friday more of a North American event than a worldwide one? Canada didn't even start taking black friday seriously until last year really.

Wow nice - thank you. Now I have to dig into my mine of all games to actually find the CD :).
Never had a chance to pick The Witcher 2. Before no time to play (I have about 20 games not even opened yet and waiting in que hehe) and when there was a sale, I probably just missed.

It is, but a lot of etailers starting to do the large sales on worldwide scale. It is kind of cool that they expand this event to every corner of the world.

Not that you need them with the GOG backups, but Gamersgate has The Witcher for $2.50 (75% off) and Witcher 2 for $11.98 (60%); use the code G2PO for another 5% off.
Steam also has the Witcher at 75% off, and had The Witcher 2 for 60% off for awhile, then changed it to 50% ($15). If the second doesn't show up in a 70-75% off flash sale over the weekend I may get it from GG on Monday (have to check when it ends).
