Am i the only one who would allmost be on the limit of killing someone in order to get a working copy of Blackthorne in here at gog?
I remember having so damn much fun with that game, I loved the whole mechanic of it :D
P.S. same goes for alien breed 1 & 2, and allso the syndicate series.
So what are the chances of actually seeing these games in here in a somewhat near future?

The wishlist is that way.
Though Blizzard is part of Activision, they are apparently not included in the deal GOG has managed to get. i agree though, it would be a nice addition.
Also, welcome.

I almost mistook OP for Weclock when I gazed at the avatar.
*shudder*

Me too, I thought, "why the hell would weclock post a topic like this... he's planning something... something big... I'd better get while the getting is good", then I noticed it wasn't him, so I stayed.
Syndicate series? Never heard of it.
Welcome to GOG though.

And given that Blizzard got their own digital distribution site for their own games and none of their games are distributed on-line elsewhere, I doubt we will see any of their games on GoG anytime soon. (Well at least the digital version of their old games are DRM-free)
I thought this was going to be a thread about cider for a second there.

So are the retail versions. Blizzard have removed the disc requirements from all the games.
thanks for the welcome, does any of you guys happen to know where one could buy the game Blackthorne then?, since on blizzards own battle.net you only seem to be able to buy WoW, warcraft and starcraft...
None of the oldies...

Unless you count Battle.net (as far as the digital version go).

I don't as you don't need to ever connect to Battle.net to play Starcraft I or Diablo II off-line.

It's 4-10 USD on eBay (likely just CD on jewel case).
While it doesn't arrive on GOG, I just found there's a sequel on the way... for mobiles. As much as I want it on every system ever intented, why only mobiles? Also on that page, Queen's Quest, which looks an awful lot like King's Quest (now THAT's something I'd like on mobiles, more old-school adventures).
PS. Oh. Reading about Queen's Quest more carefully on that page, it looks like an April Fools joke though. I don't know.

That trend picked up in mid 2000s... Civilization, Pirates, SimCity, Oblivion, Fallout 3. The trend died quickly but a revamp of an old game appears every now and then.
Blackthorne. That game was so awesome. I think I own the GBA port. Wouldn't mind seeing it on GOG, I'd definitely give it a go again.
