Well now I have regained a little faith in 2k with this latest patch, just wished they fixed it sooner. I am now reconsidering getting both the DLC right now, maybe start a new game with my brother. We both wanted to play this with 4 people online instead of just LAN.
By the way anyone know about the 'cheat' to duplicate your character to copy guns? It's how me and my brother decked each other out in the uber-guns.
a little, too late.

What about the hitboxes? Have they been fixed yet? Last I tried, the headshots are kinda wonky, making critical hits harder than they should be.
Nope, reason I didn't get DLC a few hours ago was because I played the game again and noticed things. Hitboxes still suck, no mouse filtering so you can't snipe for a shit, menus still jacked up. All the little things that piss me off at the game are still there pretty much, but at least I can play multiplayer because that's the original basis of the game anyway.
Used to I couldn't play online even when I forwarded the ports. Turns out Linksys routers won't work with Borderlands before the latest patch, so even with my A+ and CCNA training port forwarding wouldn't work and got so frustrating I still have a part of me wanting my money back. I just won't get it though, 2k refused. I'll drink some beer and play something else for now.
Dammit, well looks like Gearbox wont be getting my money after all. What a bummer, I was really hoping they'd fix these issues.
Makes me think about Blizzard sometimes. I'm no spittle-dropping fan of Actiblizzard, but at least those guys know how to support a community. Even about a year ago they were still releasing Diablo 2 patches. And GPG, despite releasing a network broken game, seems to have tidied up their mess and still releasing free content. I'm disappointed that Borderlands doesn't get the same treatment, because it really could have been the next big thing.
Unless "fixing" means "making it NOT crap" I'm not interested. I bought the game on release and was seriously disappointed. For starters, connecting to a game was a nightmare. Once connected, you'd find your team mates on the other side of the map, doing quests WAY above your level even though the server info said they were your level.
On top of that, the game starts out in a really bad way with dull areas, dull enemies, dull weapons, dull missions, etc. It gets more fun later on but by then, I lost all my interest.
I have to agree that the beginning is boring, but for what it's worth, the game is a blast (literally) to play. I think I'm beginning to see the trend here with regards to why my sniper cant hit all the time: the "accuracy" stat of weapons is really important, even though my sniper has an attribute of 98 accuracy. Which means right now, I can't decide whether it's the hitbox that is horrible, or the accuracy stat that made it "miss".
Nevertheless, I'm just in a mood for blowing s*** up, so that's where BL manages to satisfy. It's just sad that there are so many bugs plaguing the game like vehicular driving which is horrendous, that it somewhat overshadows the fun part of it.
Speaking of vehicles, that's the one aspect of the game I was really looking forward to, but it just didn't live up to my expectations at all. The vehicle comes to a halt at almost every little boulder it touches, or it doesn't even touch the wall but instead touches an invisible barrier and stops. It just doesn't feel fun to drive the vehicle, especially since you control the steering with the *ugh* mouse, so it feels like you're riding on some drunk tiger rather than gripping the steering wheel with sweaty palms.
