Have you ever bought a game that you've decided to uninstall before completing due to the gameplay itself - not due to technical problems. If so, why (too hard, dull, over-the-top gore etc) and how long did it take for you to decide that the game wasn't your "thing"?
Three games spring to mind for me;
1) POP Warrior Within - stupid checkpoints spread out just beyond my reach.
2) Psychonauts - was I really controlling the character or is someone doing it remotely?
3) Duke Nukem Manhattan Project - at first I laughed, then I chuckled, then I smiled <continue this until...> finally I felt like weeping at everything within the game
Finally, despite these 3, I have bought a fair number of games on GOG ranging from RPG's to FPS Horrors and have loved every moment of each.
