I had opened two topics in background tabs in the Mutant Mudds forum to reply to. I went to the first tab, pressed reply, typed a semi-lengthy post, hit "Post my message," but when the page refreshed it had posted it to the post I had opened in the second background tab. Rather than have to re-type everything again, I edited the post, copied and pasted it to a text document, then edited that post to be my reply to that topic. I then went went back to the forum, opened the first post I originally tried to reply to, pasted in my old reply, but when I press "Post my message" I get "Please wait. Processing..." I waited a few seconds, and then minimized the window and went it did other things.

About half an hour later I realized that window was still there showing "Please wait. Processing..." I closed it, went back to the forum, but I still can't post my reply. I've tried several times, even from a different computer, but I can't reply.

This usually happens with a malformed quote tag. You probably haven't closed one, thus the reply window hangs. Verify that all quote tags are properly opened and closed, and try posting it again, or remove all quotes before posting.

Maybe... I don't know.

If I recall correctly, it used to show a warning msg for broken formating...

Be aware that only the quote tag will cause errors, url, b, i and u will not.

I didn't quote anyone in my reply since I was replying to the general discussion and not a specific person. I didn't use any forum tags at all. I tried to reply again just now, but it still wouldn't post my reply. You gave me an idea though, so this time I quoted the original post in my reply and then it successfully posted. I then had to edit it and remove the quote. Weird.
