As we informed you earlier this week, today we're hosting a live Q&A with CD Projekt RED Senior Producer Tomasz Gop about The Witcher 2. Because the link and the password for the stream has appeared around the web (that's shocking! :)) we decided to let you guys, our beloved community, know how to log in to the stream and join us during the Q&A. The stream begins today at 5:00 p.m. GMT and you can attend it by visiting this link and entering the password: goodoldgames. We'll be revealing some cool stuff and you'll be able to ask your own questions as well, so don't miss it out.

EDITED: 7.20 PM Warsaw time
We've finished the Live Q&A now, guys. Thanks a million for all of you who showed up and asked questions. If you missed your chance at the live version, you can still see the video (and all of the awesome stuff that we talk about in it) by going to http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-witcher-2-live-q-a and watching the recording.

Remember: if you heard us answer your question on Ustream, please be sure to drop us a note at users@gog.com with your user name, the question we answered, and what game title you'd like to receive from the GOG catalog. Please note this includes current games only, and can't be redeemed for The Witcher 2.
I'll be there!

Can't wait to talk to you folks LIVE and ask some questions that I have been meaning to for a long time!

So do we get to find out what kind of DRM the retail version has? Because the lack of answer on that one is not helping matters.
I didn't post it. :P

I'll be there if I can, but basketball is happening so I can make no promises. :D
I got to work early so I could then leave early to make it home in time for this. :D I'll still probably won't make it back till 17:20 (GMT) so if you guys could hold off on starting for a bit until I get there that would be great thanks. Cheers!

Oh yeah, I was one who got the email about this (having preordered on GOG), but I didn't post it around everywhere. Did see it posted up on the Bioware forums though annoyingly enough, probably get some bioware fanboys crash the talk, don't listen to those fascists if they try and post anything! :P

I'm looking forward to this.

so exciting.
this is exacly, when I am on my way home from work :(

How long this Q&A will last? If it is longer than 1 hour, I might join later :)
Who dun it???

Grrr
As some GoG user will be at work at that time (probably I'll be one of them), can we post some questions here?
Well I really like RPGWatch but I think they blew it this time. Not only did they post the sight but also the password for access. What's the point of this being a GOG pre-order exclusive if its now open to the world?

If you're that hung up on it, GOG are idiots for posting the information as well.
They should've e-mailed it directly to those people with pre-orders.

As far as I understand this, they DID send the password/link to the people who pre-ordered by email, but as the news were spread anyway, they decided to invite their whole community as a 'counter measure', effectively leaving the stupid guys who spread the information with no meaning/pleasure.

Someone also posted it on the Bioware forums, would've responded to them but no one posted in that thread after them and so it's sunk down a couple of pages and so don't want to risk exposing it to any more people than absolutely necessary, especially not on those boards...

They did email it, that's how I found out about it several days ago. Them people started posting them on forums and so GOG decided to let the rest of you know about it since it's already been exposed.

It seems silly to make this sort of thing a pre-order bonus. The details of it would come out one way or another, and this is the type of event that should be used to draw interest and orders, not to just appeal to people already committed to ordering.

Personally, I just think GOG meant for it to happen this way, and used it as a way to say "pre-order Witcher 2" a couple more times.

There's nothing wrong with that of course, other than how clumsy it looks.

If that's the case, I stand corrected.
I don't have the time to scour the internets for who 'started' it, it just seemed silly to get upset about it when GOG themselves were posting the info.
I don't care either way, I'd probably just yell obscenities in the chat anyway. ;)
