Hi GOGers,
(You can skip this and go to the bottom directly :))

Two years ago, I created my account with no purpose, just signing up. I knew barely a little about GOG back then. I only heard that this site brings back old games to life and I play old games myself. I joined without much expectation. It turned out, GOG is the best game digital distributor to me. Don't you agree? Now I'm feeling lucky and proud to have known and joined GOG.

GOG has everything a game shop has that's ideal to me. DRM Freedom is very important to me as I don't have stable nor fast internet connection. Other than that, no hidden program that control...restrict how we play games that we own. GOG gives us the right to do what we want about the games we own, what else the definition of owning supposed to be. There's no region locking and the prices are always the same wherever you're from. This is important to me too because I'm from crappy 3rd world country, where piracy level's high and we're often excluded. GOG also makes old games playable again on modern systems, so those games may survive the test of time. Not many new games are able to match or surpass the quality of old classics. Preserving old classics makes us, gamers have more options to choose to "waste" our lifetime with. After all the goodness above, we have an active, large, and colorful community as well as generous.

Years of my gaming history had been filled with pirated games. Until many years ago, shops are selling pirated copies. I couldn't find one that sells originals. I didn't even know all the games are pirated. I found out about it when I wondered why do I need crack executables to play games and updating games made them unplayable sometimes because of renewed DRM. Later shops that sells originals started to appear but they are rare (only in big cities, in IT centers) and have only a handful of titles. Only when digital distributors started to appear and we got broadband internet, we have access to original copies. Especially after I joined GOG, I have access to the games with no restrictions whatsoever like region locking, region pricing, DRM, online activations, etc.. GOG has helped me a lot in this matter. Also with the help of generous GOGers, who are giving me gifts that are otherwise unaffordable by me. I have stopped using pirated copies and I'm proud and happy!

Thank you if you read that boring text above. For a little celebration of my two years of existence on GOG, I have other than long text above, two modest GOG keys for you:
* Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring
* Journey to the Center of the Earth

The keys will be given to whom the randomness wills. You have to have at least one rep star to be entered for the draw. You may enter for someone else. If you win the key, I suggest you redeem it as soon as you can. I will close entries before weekend.

That's all. I hope you like. Thanks.
