so Chick-fil-A donates some money to lobbyists who want to keep marriage between a man and a woman. If you don't despise this and think it is true evil at its core, then fine. But you are only punishing yourself by denying your taste buds of yummy and delicious chicken from heaven itself. In America, gun ownership has been declared a right by the constitution. There are literally hundreds of corporations that donate money to the anti-gun lobby. I am pro-gun rights, but I am not going to boycott Kmart because they threw their hat in the ring with Michael Moore. Kmart has good prices on things...and besides, the sure as hell wouldn't miss me if I stopped going there.
Do yourself a favor. Leave your politics at home and go get some of those Chick Fil-A nuggets.

That's morally no different from kicking somebody out because you don't like his skin color.
Bah, their chicken is not worth going out of your way for, and their tendency to force their religion down their customers' throats is straight out of the 17th Century.

Integrity and Principle, to me, are more important than getting to eat something that tastes good. Whether they miss me or not (they won't) is irrelevant.

2nd... I say you can have any negative opinion of anyone's lifestyle you want. I, for example, have a very negative opinion of the Christian Right's legacy of hate and bigotry. If all they did was sit in their little tax exempt churches are bitch about how much they hate gay people, then I'd have no problem with it. Instead, they, in defiance of their own savior's message, stick their noses into everyone else's bedroom through political action... and vocal opposition is the right thing for the rest of us to engage in.
3rd... Your statement is this... You are in favor of Chick-Fil-A's management expressing their opinion, but opposed to any expression of an opposing opinion... You call it political correctness. We call that hypocrisy.
4th... In reference to your next post... If you don't think homosexuality is true evil at its core, it is likely because you are an enlightened individual, as opposed to a knuckle dragging cretin.

The hypocrisy is in supporting one side's right to exert their political position while opposing the other side's right to respond.

And by definition of our Constitution there is no political right to financially support the oppression of any rights; you can give aid to whoever wants to talk about it as much as they want, but to actively work to suppress it as law is a no-no.

Get back to me when you invent anything as awesome as BBQ or Jazz.

((hope you know I'm teasing... I love your awesome Universal Health Care System))
against baseball, american foorball, burgers and BBQ (can't count Jazz as you stole it from the afro-americans as well as the Blues and Rock'n Roll)....
PS: of course you're teasing as much as I do - way too much in and coming from America to not love it ;)

Hershey's is only allowed to call what they sell chocolate because people don't know better to correct them. Hershey's is chocolate in name only.

With milk chocolate especially, they might as well list cocoa in with the natural colorings.

And while I wanted to assault you with a long list of examples of American "exceptionalism", I'll refrain because you played the ultimate trump card.... CERN
So I guess, on behalf of America... Thank You. :-)
