Hello

I love games like Little Big Adventure 1 and 2 (which I have purchased) , Grim Fandango and Oblivion/Skyrim etc

LBA 2 is an AMAZING game , something like that I'd love - oh and I just purchased The Longest Journey which should be good.

If you know of any games like that please let me know!!

Thanks in advance

Depends. From here or elsewhere?
Sorry I meant that I can buy from GOG
Well since the games you posted are adventurey goodness, I would wholeheartedly recommend Gemini Rue, and Resonance which are both fantastic adventure games with amazing stories.
Staying with adventure, I'm into Sanitarium right now and I'm loving it. I've also heard some really nice things about the Siberia games but they are still on my backlog so I havn't actually played them yet.
Well in the same vein of The Longest Journey I'd recommend the Runaway saga (I only tried the first though, which was great, but I heard positive feedback regarding its sequel) or the Broken Sword saga.
Don't think You'll find many games quite like the LBAs, they're pretty unique.

Sticking to adventure games with a similar mood/feel/theme, try the Broken Sword series (specifically the first two games, Shadow of The Templars and The Smoking Mirror) and . [url=http://www.gog.com/catalogue?search=Daedalic+Entertainment]Daedalic adventures also have a lot of charm to them.
For a more 'retro' presentation, WadjetEye games are excellent.
In the FPP category, I really liked the Atlantis games (The Lost Tales, Beyond Atlantis and The New World are available here) and the Myst series (although that one is missing the third and fourth game, unfortunately). But mileage usually varies more with those.

LBA series essentially are hybrid action-adventures with light puzzle and RPG elements. While there are games that match the criteria, I cannot come up with anything that I played and is on GOG with a feel of Little Big Adventure.

I dare say you would like Zelda series.
Try Psychonauts.

(Maybe Beyond Good and Evil, too.)

Thanks for the replies.

BTW just found out Steam has got Runaway etc and I think it was cheaper than GOG.

I will check out every game in this thread.
Welcome to GOG, be sure to buy Sacrifice, it's one of the best games ever made, but one of the least-known as well. Other great games I can recommend are:

-King of Dragon Pass
-Giants:Citizen Kabuto
-Planescape:Torment
-Messiah

Just to name a few great games that haven't had the success they deserve.
You could try Alone in the Dark 1, from the same creator of Little Big Adventure.

I would also recomend the Gabriel Knight series and Broken Sword series.
And as you said that you like games like Oblivion and Skyrim, have you checked out Two Worlds? It is similar (though still different) and quite fun. Also, Arx Fatalis, Gothic 3 and Ultima Underworld might be your cup of tea.
And if you don't mind a change of perspective:
Ultima 7, Fallout, Arcanum, Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate, Geneforge & Divine Divinity are all worth checking out. Not exactly like Oblivion and Skyrim, but still really good.
Morrowind is sadly not on here, but it is great. Better than Skyrim & Oblivion, in particular if you mod it.
I'm not sure if it's your style, but Deus Ex was, is, and always will be one of the best games you can lay your hands on.

And I agree with AFnord, if you liked Oblivion, try the Gothic and the Two Worlds games. Ultima Underworld hasn't aged that well, but it used to be my favorite - and still is a great game. And yes, I second Ultima7, Fallout, Planescape: Torment and Bladur's Gate.

Baldur's Gate 2, Fallout and Fallout 2. I feel sorry for the people who have not played these games. I see them as if they are replicants with 5 year lifespans. They are missing out big time.
