trusteft: Alpha Protocol is an awesome game as long as you approach it as a real time light RPG and not as a third person shooter with rpg elements.

I bought it on disc about a week after release and played it to finish 4 times in a row.
Agreed. I enjoyed Alpha Protocol quite a bit. It's welcome to make decisions that actually matter in a game.

Can't recommend it enough Vampire Bloodlines with the latest unofficial patch. Should be 8.5.1 now.

All my friends seem to love Demon Souls / Dark Souls
There's a PC version of Dark Souls but I believe it needs some patching and playing around with before it runs nice, I don't beleive there was even an XBox 360 version of Demon Souls though - PS3 only
Also I bought Eye - Supreme Cybermancy in the Christmas Steam sale but I've not played it yet so not sure how good it is
Also isn't Arcanum kind of dark? Not played that one either

My Mistake Seems there was a hotfix soon after edited post to reflect that.
