I guess it is my turn to jump on the bandwagon. Whoever wants a coupon for $20 Demigod (which I think is %50 off at the moment) give me a holler at this player. You don't have to send naked pics of yourself, but it might help in my decision making process.
For those of you who don't know what Demigod is, it is basically Defense of the Ancients (popular mod for Warcraft 3) but with improved graphics and (arguably) improved gameplay. To be honest, I wouldn't pay $40 again for the game again, but $20 is pretty fair. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is pretty good (if a little unbalanced), but there isn't a lot of content for $40.
Why are they giving away the coupons to people who bought the game? Basically this is because at launch the game was almost unplayable. As a consequence of that very few people played it online, which is a problem because the game is meant to be played online (in the same sense that Quake 3 Arena was meant to be played online). So now that they have fixed the game they want people to actually give it a go and start filling out the servers online. Thus, $20 friend coupons to people who got screwed and bought the game when it first came out (IE: Me). None of my buddies are really into RTS type games, and since the coupons expire in November I figure I will just give them away instead of letting them go to waste.
So there you have it. Now you can start competing for my favor. Might I suggest "Oh Handshakes, you're so big!" as a place to start?
