This doesn't seem to have been publicized much so here it is:

Yea, pretty cool for the HB purchasers. A friend of mine loves it.
It also has a bunch of open source/free games on there, very convenient.
edit: I am not related to Desura in any way, just wanted to share my enthusiasm.

Between the HIBs and the second Indie Royable Bundle I've got many games on Desura than run on Linux.
The client works fine and you can run the games outside the client too if you want.
Desura on Linux is gooood. Only found two things which annoy me somewhat so far:

1) Having to run Desura in Wine to get it to show my Windows-only games instead of just letting me install them and run them through wine (I-know-what-I'm-doing mode).
2) Not being able to install all the games at once.
A good thing in Desura is, like GoG, the DRM-FREE thing.

Yes.

You don't really need to launch the Desura client to play games.

You can navigate in the Desura folder and move the games where you want.

Also, you could run the games from it's folder, mostly of them without much tweaking (a personalized launch shell script).
