If you're not familiar with the classic crime drama featuring Dick Van Dyke, then look it up and come back. If you are, you'd know that this show has been over for more than a decade now, and CBS announced a game version of a show that is watched by people in their 50s. Not exactly bestseller topping, but OK. Seems like CBS is really trying to see if people will actually want to play this.

I'll save them millions of dollars and development time: No. Hell no. Not if CBS paid me.
I don't know about this. I do know that casual style "Murder Mystery" games have been getting more popular lately. But jeez, making a game based on a old show that most people don't remember doesn't seem that smart. I think a title based on the show Murder She Wrote (another CBS property) would be more successful.
They're also making a Criminal Minds game (uh... OK....) and a Ghost Whisperer game (seriously, what the hell?). Yeah that's right, real list toppers right there, CBS.
Diagnosis: Failure.

I'd play it, it would just me a simple point and click adventure. Aren't the CSI's supposed to be good? I want to play those.
Has anyone played the Lost and CSI games? Are tv-based games the future of shovelware?
Watched by people in their 50's? Please, you're giving the show too much credit, it was never watched by anyone under 60 and they only "watched" it because they fell asleep in front of the TV before it came on.
Hey hey - I absolutely love the show and I'm well under 50.
I simply love Dick Van Dyke - he's hillarious. :)

They are already making this into a casual game.

I watched it every day as a student! (good times...)
It was on not long after I woke up, about 1-2pm. :P
Hey, diagnosis murder was a great show, always used to time my lunch breaks around it at work.
That was back when I used to get a lunch break :(
