There is this game I played when I was a child but I really don't remember the name of it, don't remember much about it actually. It was a 2D puzzle game, and you played with this little dinosaur dude. I remember the game having some kind of elevators i think and the puzzles where based around those, but I am not sure. I was like 5 when I played this soooo about 19 years ago. If anyone has any clue, please tell me. Oh, it was a DOS game.

I don't think the dinosaurs had elevators.
Nope, it's not it. Thanks!

Correct, it was the caveman. I'm a history buff so you can trust the words of a random stranger on the internet for once.
Is it <span class="bold">This?</span>

The elevator you speak of could very well be the flying machine that the protagonist has been described as having self-designed.

Sorry, it's not the caveman. You actually played with a little dinosaur and walked on 2 feet. He was small, because as I said before, it was some kind of puzzle game. You moved on the vertical and on the horizontal. The screen was fixed, it was not like a side scroller. Every level was a new screen.

Not this either, but it was kinda this style.

That was actually my first thought when I read OP. But I see you've already got the answer. It's a fantastic version. I still have my retail version. Later levels can be a bit challenging but very rewarding at the same time!

Switched it myself straight after, the delay was finding other sites with info just as good.
